Montgomery’s Favorite Overnight

Postpartum Doula

Receive infant care and practical household help while you rest peacefully

Our overnight postpartum doulas are dedicated to providing assistance during those late-night hours. We can help with feeding and soothing the baby, allowing you to get the restorative rest you need to wake up refreshed. While you sleep, we can help with light tidying, preparing/sterilizing bottles, and handling laundry, ensuring you wake up to a more organized and comfortable space. Our goal is to alleviate the stress of nighttime care by providing you with newborn care that you can trust.

Postpartum Doula, Night Nanny or Night Nurse?

overnight postpartum support montgomery, montgomery night nanny,

No matter how long and hard your day was, you can count on relief coming at bedtime!

You get to decide if it will be in the form of a postpartum doula, night nanny or a night nurse. Each role offers a their own version of support, but I believe postpartum doulas provide the most comprehensive care. Night nannies focus strictly on the baby. Night nurses care for infants with complex medical needs.

Your postpartum doula provides a holistic approach that includes newborn education, a listening ear, household assistance, care for both parents well-being, and expert newborn care. In addition to attending to the baby's needs, we can provide support to the mother through lactation assistance, emotional reassurance and practical guidance on newborn care. Our postpartum doulas assist with light household chores, perhaps some food prep, and ensure a restful recovery environment. Wake up to an orderly living room, empty dishwasher and folded laundry!

As your doula, we prioritize the overall well-being of both the parents and the baby. Let us foster a nurturing environment and help you transition into your new parental roles .

“Juanita is the greatest blessing a growing family could hope for. She does it all – prepartum support, birth/labor, postpartum support, night nannying, infant sleep coaching, and lactation counseling – and she does it flawlessly. She used gentle/no-cry sleep training techniques to teach the twins to connect their sleep cycles, and she had them sleeping 6 hour stretches at night within the first 6 weeks. On top of all this, Juanita found time every night to fold laundry, wash the dishes, organize our toddler's playroom, and complete a bunch of other miscellaneous household tasks. My husband and I loved waking up every morning to a clean, organized house almost as much as we loved waking up to happy, well-rested babies.”
