Andrea L. is a certified birth doula through Childbirth International, with experience supporting women through their birth journeys since 2017. She is deeply passionate about empowering women to make informed decisions that align with their birth preferences.

One of the aspects Andrea cherishes most about her work as a birth doula is assisting women prenatally, guiding them to explore and understand their options, and helping them feel confident and positive about their choices. She believes that the foundation for a fulfilling birth experience is rooted in being well-informed, actively participating in decision-making, and feeling heard, supported, and valued. As a doula, Andrea’s role is to facilitate these elements to ensure a positive and empowering birth experience.

In addition to her work as a doula, Andrea is a stay-at-home mother to thirteen children, nine of whom still live at home. She and her family live on a 5-acre homestead in Prattville, where she enjoys activities like milking cows and spending time immersed in nature. The family is also actively involved in their local church and enjoys participating in music-related activities.
